LEGO One Piece Arrives September 29: What Nami Fans Should Know

A tiny plastic pirate crew is a very effective way to get my attention. But before we all rearrange our September watchlists around orange hair and a straw hat, here is the useful part: LEGO One Piece arrives on Netflix on September 29, 2026.

This is a preview based on official announcements, checked September 15. I have not reviewed the unreleased special, and I am keeping the story details light.

The confirmed details

Netflix’s August 25 guide confirms a two-part special retelling the first two live-action seasons. Usopp tells the adventure to Chopper, and Emily Rudd returns to voice Nami alongside the live-action Straw Hat cast. That gives this version a familiar voice even when the crew’s elbows have become hinges.

The official trailer article provides a separate preview of the brick-built treatment. The format is the hook here: familiar adventures filtered through a different kind of comedy.

Why I am watching the Nami angle

My interest is in how a very expressive character survives a deliberately simplified design. A minifigure cannot lean on the same facial detail as a close-up in live action. Timing, voice, and the shape of a reaction have to do more work. That is an appealing little adaptation puzzle.

Put the right title on your watchlist

I would use the next two weeks to choose a viewing route, not to speed-run a giant backlog out of obligation. If you want the live-action story’s reveals intact, watch those seasons before a retelling that covers them. If you already know that version, this can be a playful return visit.
